Souk is the name of an ephemeral restaurant, open throughout the summer, which opens this Wednesday, June 15 in a lodge in the Carmelitesat Toulouse.
In the kitchens of Loge 24
A summer adventure that takes place at the restaurant Lodge 24, a well-known address of this Toulouse covered market. Which continues to serve customers at lunchtime, but opens its kitchens to Souk teams in the evening and on weekends.
Behind this new ephemeral address, we find Rodolphe Lafarge, a well-known culinary blogger from the Pink City, but also Paul Fourcade and Olivier Sy from the Loge 24 restaurant as well as Hamid Miss, the leader of the Gentle Slope.
A fine team that has already worked together, particularly during the Nocturnes des Carmes. And who wants to offer a new culinary offer in Toulouse.
map of the sun
“We want to offer a map of the sun, explains Rodolphe Lafarge. With a cuisine with Turkish, Israeli, Palestinian, Lebanese influences… Basically the whole Mediterranean basin! »
A cuisine of the sun that takes you on a journey Morocco in the Levantine Basin. With fresh products, dishes to share such as stuffed aubergines, fried onions with honey and feta, broad bean or chickpea hummus… But also beautiful dishes, such as “souk dishes” in the spirit of what you can taste in Istanbul…
“The menu will also change over the summer,” says Rodolphe Lafarge. And we will no doubt one or two couscous evenings ! »
The Souk restaurant will be open from Tuesday evening to Saturday evening as well as Saturday and Sunday noon. Opening this June 15, at 6 p.m.
