what is the natman diet?

For diet enthusiasts looking for one that actually works, there’s the natman diet. Also called “air hostess diet”, it is a program that is carried out in just four days. The goal is to lose almost 4 kg thanks to a low-calorie and high-protein diet.

If you decide to invest in this diet, you will have to replace your usual meals with a large consumption of meat and vegetables, while reducing lipids and carbohydrates as much as possible. This diet being for a very short period, it is easier to respect one of the most difficult rules of a diet: no longer snacking between meals, consuming alcohol or sugary drinks.

This diet, as Passeport Santé explains, works thanks to the action of the body, which will directly draw on the reserves of fat and sugar that food no longer provides and thus cause weight loss. In addition, this diet only lasts four days and therefore almost prevents any risk of deficiency.

What can you eat on this diet?

When you want to follow the natman diet, certain foods are allowed and encouraged, such as lean meat, poultry, white fish, seafood, eggs, tofu, 0% yoghurts and dairy products, green vegetables, citrus fruits, as well as low-sugar fruits.

On the other hand, all foods very high in fat are prohibited: sweet products, sugar, starches, cereals, cakes, pastries, pastries, fats, cheeses, industrial meals, fast food as well as all soft drinks.

A stabilization phase is necessary

After following this program for four days, Passeport Santé recommends observing a seven-day stabilization phase. People who have followed this food program must indeed get used to eating more normally. A woman is therefore advised to follow a diet 1,200 kcal per day then continue with the 1,500 kcal one. In men, it is recommended to start with the one at 1,500 kcal and then increase to 1,800 kcal.

However, like many diets, this program is not recommended for children, the elderly, pregnant women, diabetics and people with gastrointestinal disorders.
