Uber Eats, the meal delivery and home shopping application, is coming to Figeac. By launching in the Lot sub-prefecture, Uber Eats announces that it wants to “strengthen its presence in the Lot department”, by already being available in particular in Cahors since July 2019. In a press release, the company explains thus “strengthen its anchorage in the French territory by being present in more than 320 agglomerations and by covering nearly 70% of the French population”. This home meal and meal delivery service works thanks to partner restaurants. Since Thursday, June 9, it is possible via the Uber Eats application to be delivered “in less than 30 minutes and with no minimum order from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. by choosing from the following nine partner restaurants: Bowling du Lot, Ci Gusta, Kiosque à Pizzas, L’Émincé, La Strada, One Burger, Tacos Concept, Woods Kebab and McDonald’s”.
“The launch of our activity will thus allow Figeacois to have access to a variety of cuisines for delivery and take-out, and restaurateurs to increase their activity as well as their visibility. The next few weeks will be devoted to developing new partnerships with restaurants and extending our delivery area in the heart of the Lot,” explains Marie Lahoud, head of expansion for Uber Eats in France.
